3D Flowers, Flower Basket Greeting Card

YES!!! I said 3D Flowers!!

Good afternoon fellow crafters!! Me again! Back to show you this adorable flower basket card I make. This is one that I have a lot of fun with. Everyone loves it!!! I change up the flowers and colors, depending on what time of year.

This is my most recent one.

Ok, so, to make this card, you need...
*card stock,
*paper flowers - either purchased, punched or hand made,
*glue - I use both glue and hot glue gun, & Scor Tape
 *ribbon, &
*rhinestones.
You can tweak this to whatever your preferences are.

Ok, so I use my Cricut Explore and cut out a shape that's called cupcake. It's just the shape. I cut 2 of them...one for the front, one for the back.

Then I take a pearly brown and trace the bottom for the "basket". Emboss it. Glue it to the front part of the card.

Take the back piece, and emboss a line from top to bottom 2/8" in, measuring from the bottom of the cup cake cut. Glue or scor tape the front and back together.

Now decorate the front to your desired look. Have fun with it! I add peep cuts at Easter, shamrocks at St. Patrick's....you get the idea!

Like what you see??? Then make sure you follow me!!!

Penny Black Cute As A Bug!

Too cute! I love this set. Its great for spring.

I had to make a card for someone who is going through a rough time, so, I decided, after much debate, that I would use my Cut As A Bug stamp set from Penny Black

I really enjoyed coloring this one. I just love the way it all came together.

For some reason, it screams spring to me. Happiness....I know, sounds silly.
I plan on adding mini paper flowers all around her to make it as cheerful as possible.

Once again, I am left waiting for an order
from Joanns!!! Hahahaha.....I'm loosing my sense of humor.
They take way to long to process and order for shipping.
5 Days now!!
I mean...COME ON PEOPLE!!! Lol

As usually, I will tell you the supplies that I used to make this...

Uptown Girl Audrey Loves Her Makeup

Stampingbella Uptown Girls Collection

Good afternoon everyone!! Today, I have another new stamp
that I've been working with. I happened upon this stamp, on Pinterest. I was floored at how awesome it was. So, naturally, I found it and bought it. Lol.
I just think this is the cutest thing! Everyone
knows how classy Audrey Hepburn was. This stamp carries that class....

Finished card!

Here she is, waiting to adorn the card that I'm making with her.

The sentiment that the stamp came with, says...

For beautiful EYES,
look for the good in others;
For beautiful LIPS,
speak only words of kindness;
and for POISE,
walk with the knowledge
that you are never alone

Now, you can see the folds in her dress, right? Well, silly me thought that the stamp would at least have the lines for me to follow with the shading....nope! I had to make the folds in the dress, as well as here boobs! Haha! And, I NEVER did that before! I was dying...Lol. I really wanted this to look awesome and like the pic on the stamp package. I mean, come on!! You definitely need those folds...well, in my option.

Here's a couple of close ups, so you can see the folds and stuff. I think I need to tweak the boobs...Lol

I used some blues with grays to get the desired look. Again, I have really never ventured into that realm with my Copics before. I'm extremely crafty, and savvy, but, I'm finding, that there's still a lot I'm learning about my Copics. If there was a class around here, I'd take it, but there's not. There are some great tutorials on YouTube and Pinterest though.

Ok, tweaked the boobs...Lol. Didn't want to go to crazy.

* Supplies I used to make this card *
Memento Ink Tuxedo Black
Copic Markers: Dress: C1, C3, C5, C7, B24
Hate & Purse; RV69, RV66, RV63
Skin: E000, E00 E02
Recollections Black card stock
Bazzill Atlantic City card stock
Embossing folder
Stampingbella Uptown Girl Audrey Loves Her Makeup Stamp set

And there you have it! Remember when you're coloring folds, you need to go over a couple times for the right shadowing. Have a great night and thanks for stopping by!

Be sure to follow me!

Whats on my table next,...

Bugs and Bees card swap

Spring is here, and so are the spring swaps!

Once again, in yet another FB group, I signed up for the bugs and bees swap.
Why??? I drove myself crazy with this one.
I honestly don't have a lot of stamps for the theme (I've got thousand of stamps too, just didn't like what I had for this theme). I do have my Cricut
with thousands of SVG's I could've used, but I wanted to use my stamps and Copics.
I'm on a kick right now...k??? Hahaha. I had ordered some stamps that
would've been perfect too, but Joannes was behind and took 12 days to ship my order. Booo!! Hahaha.

Soooo, this is what I came up with....

I used my Graphics 45 bee and butterfly stamp, with my Happy Day daisy stamp.
Of course colored with my Copics markers. Lol.
I used my spritzer for the first time with this one too....sprayed to much. Lol

* Supplies I used *
Spectrum Noir card stock
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Copic  Markers: Flowers: RV69, RV66, RV63, G99, G94, G40
Stems: G99, G94,
Butterfly: RV02, RV00, BG15, BG13, BG000
Bee: BG000, Y28, Y23, Y17, 100
Stampin Up Spritzer Crushed Curry Ink
Graphic 45 Stamps (Butterfly & Bee)
Happy Day Daisy Stamp
Jillibean Soup Stamps: Handwritten Sentiment
White Recollections card stock

Of course my new stamps have arrived, too late for this card, but
heaven knows, I'll make more!! Hahaha

Be sure to follow me!
I have a lot of goodies in store. My even work on a video
of my best selling card, the flower basket!
Still thinking about it.
To find 5 minutes of quiet to tape, would be great! Hahaha

And, after finding a challenge that fit my card, I entered. Fingers crossed

Magnolia mini stamp with butterfly Art Abandonment ATC

Ahh, yes! I'm at it again!
Hehehe, yes, I'm at it again.... I'm always up to something...LOL. I'm finish working on my next art abandonment ATC.
This time, I used my Magnolia mini stamp. It's Tilda sitting so sweetly, with her butterfly pal.
As I stated previously, these mini stamps are very small, and a tad tricky to color! But they suit an ATC so well! I couldn't resist!

I just love how Tilda came out! Now to set up the ATC she'll be sitting on!

You can see the mess I make when I work, especially with my Copics! I pull out a bunch of colors! This time wasn't even as bad! It's usually worse!!!
But the old saying is, a creative person, is a messy person! Hahaha....totally true!

So, I will be using my distressed inks to ink the background of the ATC, as well as my spritzer.
Ooh, let's talk spritzer for a moment! I never had one until now.....let me just say...LOVE IT!!!
I got it from Stampin Up. I bought a 2 pack figuring I'd try it out...well, next time I place an order with SU, yup, I'm ordering a bunch with a case of the ink refills in the colors I want! That's right people, I said CASE!! Hahahaha!

I will be cutting Tilda out, and placing her on the ATC with a foam dot, that way she pops off the card. I will add my saying to the background of the card.
I try to keep the expressions short and sweet,
being that there really isn't a huge amount of space to work with.

Close up of Tida

My ink supplies used to ink the background. All inked and spritzed!

Viola! Finished and ready to be abandoned!

Alright, lets talk supplies...Lol!!
*Supplies I used to make this ATC*
Copic Markers: Dress:RV02, RV04,
Hair: E13, E15, E19
Skin: E000, E00, E02
Butterfly: BG13, BG15, R83, R85
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Kraft paper & card board (for the ATC)
Magnolia Mini stamp
Tim Holtz distressed ink: Tumbled Glass & Abandoned Coral
Stampin Up Spritzer: Bermuda Bay Stampin Up Ink

Hope you love it, and decide to do some art abandonment too!! Thanks for stopping by!

Tilda was added to challenge at...

Fingers crossed she wins!

Stampin Friends March Card Swap "Spring Is Here"

Spring is here!!! So are the House Mouse and Happy Hoppers!

Good evening from New York! Such a beautiful day here. Enjoying the warmth!

Today, I have another bunch of cards I made, for yet another FB group I'm in!! Hahaha Running really low on energy, and feeling really fatigued today. Actually the past couple days. But, I have swaps to finish. I still have a mini album on my table, that HAS to be done over this weekend. Pray I have the strength...LOL. It's tough getting through these swaps when I'm so tired. But, I march on!!! Lol

This group is called Stampin Friends, and it's made up of mostly women who love Stampin Up. I have a couple sets from Stampin up, as I just recently got into them. I will definitely be acquiring more, in time...LOL. For this swap, I didn't use my Stampin Up sets, because it's spring themed and I really didn't have what fit the description. So, I decided to use one of my House Mouse stamps and one of my Happy Hoppers stamps.

This is what I call, "Gettin her done!" Hahaha
Matching up flowers to match the colors isn't always as fun as you thing it would be....LOL

Art Abandonment

Abandoning art is the new craze!
Hello everyone!!! It's a beautiful day, finally, here in NY! Perfect timing for my next project. Art abandonment! It's like a kind of PIF.

How awesome is the paying it forward concept?? I absolutly love the idea of this art abandonment. I belong to a FB group that is called, art abandonment (yes, I'm into everything). I plan on make a bunch of inspirational ATC's to "abandon" randomly around town. My hope, is that maybe it'll make someone else's day brighter, even a little better. Right? How awesome is that?? I know I would love to find some abandoned art! You should see some of the people in the groups work. Amazing!!!

OK, so, my first ATC that I chose for this project, is my Cherish Each Day ATC.
I made it happy, with the upbeat , bright colors. Plus, the flowers make it happy too..lol

Almost all ready!

*Supplies I used*
Spectrum Noir card stock
Memento tuxedo black ink
Cherish each day stamp by Heidi
Daisy Stamp (sorry, I had it so long, I don't remember who made it)
Copic markers
    Flowers: Y15, Y17, Y11
    Stems: G94, G99
    Shadow: YG06, YG09
Scrappy Cat Glitter Glue

Ok, all bagged in a little ziploc to protect it from the elements.

I have to print up a little something to put with it, so the people who find it, know it wasn't lost. That it's been abandoned for their pleasure...lol. I will add the link to my blog, and maybe, just maybe, we'll hear back for the new owner :-)

Well, I hope you enjoyed my first art abandonment ATC. Have a great day!

#InLove ATC

#inlove ATC

Hey Guys! Me again...lol. Here to show you my in love ATC and tell you how I made it! This one was actually made for a valentines, love ATC swap I was in. I had to make 4 for the swap, but this one is special. Its considered a shaker ATC....really cute!

See the windows full of mini hearts? Give it a shake and they move around!

I love ATC's. I think they are the cutest, when they're all decked out. Lol. A lot of people don't know what ATC's are. I didn't up until about a year ago. They're actually pretty cool. ATC is short for Artist Trading Cards....don't get nervous. I know the name sounds a little intimidating. Not at all! They're the size of a baseball card, 3.5" X 2.5". They are as thick as baseball card too. I've come across a lot of people, who were new to making ATC's, that they didn't realize that. They just used one layer of card stock, which isn't wrong, if that's what you like, but a true ATC has to be thick.

Ok, so, to get started, you need an empty box from something like cereal, pasta....not corrugated. Also, I like to layer the back of the card with kraft paper. Cut it 3.5" X 2.5". I usually cut a bunch. Once you get started, you'll understand why...lol

As you can see, I used my kraft paper, and a cereal box.

Pick whatever paper you want to use for your cover, background. Cut it 3.5" X 2.5" too.

Now, basically decorate however your heart desires!

In my case, I cut out a picture frame with my Cricut Explore. I also cut out 2 hearts and the #inlove expression. All those cuts are free if you have the Cricut subscription. ($9.95 per month)

I inked the hearts with Tom Holtz distressed ink,
- barn door & fire brick

Then I stamped the hearts with my Peachy Keen face stamps
- Sweet on you face assortment (PK-1357)

I colored the eyes in, using a white gel pen for the whites and a colored marker for the iris.

I then inked the edges of the photo frame with Tim Holtz distressed ink
- black soot

Using my score tape, I taped the plastic window material to the photo frame cut.

Then I cut a bunch of mini hearts in 3 differnt colors
- red, pink and hot pink card stock

After cutting the hearts, I took some foam tape and layer the edges of the photo frame, so there would be space between the inked hearts and the frame. It makes a pocket effect. I put the cut mini hearts in there and secured it all together. Glued all finishing touches.....Voila!

Love you Latte ATC

Well, hope you found this helpful. Now, go get busy peeps! ATC's are a lot of fun!

Magnolia Stamp Card

Magnolia Stamps!!! OMG!

I've seen them before, who hasn't!? Well, now I love them! A crafty friend of mine, made me a gorgeous card with a Magnolia digi. That's the moment something clicked and I was in love! Hahaha. I can't use digi's right now. I don't have a great printer, but, I do have an extensive stamp collection! So, Joanne's was having a sale, and I bought a bunch of stamps, including some Magnolia stamps!! Made the big mistake of buying some minis....very small. That's all I can say. Heads up! They are tiny and hard to color. Adorable too, but very tricky. Lol!! I was almost disappointed in how small they were, but I got past it...lol.
Mini sized stamp. Cute right?? This is one of the mini stamps.

Another bunch of stamps I added to my growing collection, were the house mouse stamps....so cute!!! They have bunnies and bears too, so of course, I got them too. Also got some CC Designs. I find that I'm really starting to like the chunky cartoon people stamps...Lol. Never used to. Maybe it's because they're so much fun to color with my Copics! And they come out great!!!

P.S. Joanne's had another sale since my purchase, and yup, I bought more! Can't wait for them to come in! I will definitely share my projects when they do!

* Tilda with Hanging Rabbit Magnolia Stamp *
I know I mentioned earlier, in another post, that I'm in swap groups on FB. Well, one of the does a PIF (pay it forward), where whoever likes or comments on your post, you pick 2 of those people to get a card that you made them. Then, they're suppose to do the same thing when they receive your card. I love the concept, and it also lets me work with all my different stamps, and not have a thousand cards laying around! Plus, I love when the people share the pic in a post, and I get to hear how much they love their card. Always puts a smile on my face.

Anyway, this is Tilda with her rabbit. I made this for one of the two winners in the PIF

*Supplies I used making this card*

Memento Tuxedo black ink (doesn't run when you use Copics, or any alcohol marker)
Copic markers (of course)
Skin: E000, E00, E02 (cheeks R20)
 Hair: E19, E15, E13
   Dress & Boots: RV00, RV02, RV63, RV66
Bunny: W5, W3, W1, (cheeks, nose, tummy & tail R20)
Yellow, Aqua, and Triangle print card stock

I used recollections paper. Yellow and an aqua green color that I felt , matched the colors I used on Tilda. I just love her bunny. He's so cute!

Well, thanks for stopping by. Hope you enjoyed Tilda and her Rabbit

Wonder Woman Super Friend Greeting Card

Hello Super Fans!!!
I know, once again I've been MIA. With 4 boys, and MS, sometimes the fatigue wins! I've been so tired, that even the thought of writing my blog was scary...lol.

I have been working though. I've been a busy little bee with all the swaps I've been doing. I joined a bunch of groups on Facebook, and we swap cards, ATC's (artist trading cards), mini albums....everything! Anyway, I'm going to try and get back on track and start to share my creations again.

**Wonder Woman Super Friend Greeting Card**
I have fallen in love with this stamp! I thought it was the cutest thing!
Not to mention, I was a Wonder Woman fan as a kid...lol.
Naturally, loving my Copics, I had to have this stamp, because
I just couldn't wait to color it! I purchased it off of Facebook, so,
I don't know what company makes it.

I also made the card for a craft friend of mine,
that won the card lottery for the month, and everyone in the group sends her cards that they make. I never win...LOL. But that's OK! I enjoy making that cards!

Anyway, Here's what I used to make this Wonder Woman Super Friend Card...

*SUPPLIES USED*
Memento Ink - Tuxedo Black ( It doesn't run when you color with Copics)
Copic Markers - Skin: E000, E00, E03
                            Hair:E44, E47, E79
                           Top Outfit & Boots: R29, R89
Bottom Outfit: B18, B24
                            Shadow: C7, C5, C3
Lips: R39, R89
Earrings & Tiara: Y28
Stamp Sets - Wonder Women and
White, Red, Yellow and Blue card stock.
White Gel Pen for accents

After stamping and coloring the image, I glued it to red card stock that I cut just .25" larger then what I cut the stamped imaged.
Then I made the yellow card stock about .50" larger, and stamped it with the comic pow burst and stars.
Then I cut the blue card stock 4.25" X 5.50".
I used white card stock as my cards base, so you write in it or stamp a sentiment and be able to see it clearly.

Well, that's about it folks! Hope you enjoyed my Wonder Woman card!!!
